Part of the Espace San Bernardo ski area, La Rosière is the only international ski area in the northern French Alps due to its lift links with the Italian resort of La Thuile. The French-Italian ski area boasts approximately 155km of long and gentle slopes on the French side with more challenging skiing on the Italian side.

The ski area consistently ranks as one of the top ski resorts in the northern Alps for snowfall and south facing La Rosière enjoys great sunshine. If you have transport, you can ski in neighboring resorts – Les Arcs and La Plagne, along with Tignes and Val d’Isère a little further afield.

The resort isn’t necessarily famed for its apres-ski, but this authentic French village has plenty to offer for the gastro lovers amongst you with popular restaurants in the village and on the mountain and one or two nice bars for the post-skiing drink.
