Les Menuires may not win prizes for the beauty of its architecture and nor does its reputation for nightlife reverberate throughout the Alps, but it provides inexpensive accommodation that offers quick & easy access to the world’s largest ski area. Indeed, it is broadly agreed that accommodation prices in Les Menuires are around 30% lower than they are in Méribel and even the lower villages of Courchevel. Why pay for a name?
At 1,850m the resort is high enough to offer a good degree of snow reliability and its mostly south-facing slopes mean that when the sun shines, it shines on Les Menuires – not ideal for the powderhounds but great for families with shivering children!
