A super family ski resort, particularly suited to beginner and intermediate skiers with 165kms of piste being dominated by blue runs. It is an easy resort for families to navigate too as much of the accommodation is slopeside…..always a bonus!

The pretty village is located at 1400m and is car free with a good number of eateries for a relatively small resort. Whilst the après scene isn’t huge, there are decent options for a post skiing drink.

Valmorel is unlikely to set your world alight if you are looking for couloirs and bold black runs, but we cannot speak highly enough of this authentic French resort for those skiing with young children or those with relatively inexperienced skiers in their group.
