Welcome to
Résidence Koh-I Nor
If it’s the five-star experience you’re looking for, Residénce Koh-I Nor has everything you could ever need to make your trip to Val Thorens as memorable as you could wish. Not only does it have five-star hotel status, dutifully bestowed upon it by an important person with a clipboard (we assume), but it also lays claim to a highly coveted Michelin-starred chef (Eric Samson) in one of three restaurants.
On top of its game in many aspects, Koh-I Nor boasts quite the accolade of being the highest five-star accommodation in Europe, situated at 2364 metres. So as you can imagine, the views are pretty special up in the sky. When it comes to skiing, you can't ask for much more either - enjoy ski-in ski-out access at Koh-I Nor.
Resembling the diamond that gave the Hotel its name, the building is entirely glass, meaning natural light streams in and the ubiquitous views of snow-covered mountains are second to none.
Guest rooms and communal spaces alike are fitted to a very high specification with a lovely blend of comfort and style added to by more than a touch of luxury. Choose from a range of one-bedroom up to four-bedroom rooms, suitable for groups of 2-8.
The luxury experience doesn't stop at the relaxation facilities, you’ll be glad to know. With a fantastic spa featuring two swimming pools, a whirlpool, a sauna, and a hammam. But where this spa comes into its own, is with additional facilities like the salt wall, ice fountain, experience showers, and relaxation zone.
