It's fair to say that Koh-I Nor really is at the top of its game; and that is not just a nod towards the five-star rating that someone with a clipboard granted to the résidence. Rather, this accolade has been bestowed because, at 2364m, it is geographically the highest five-star accommodation in Europe!

Resembling the diamond that gave the Hotel its name, the building is all glass and so natural light streams in and the ubiquitous views of snow-covered mountains are second-to-none. Guest rooms (between one and four bedrooms) and communal spaces alike are fitted to a very high specification with a lovely blend of comfort and style added to by more than a touch of luxury.
