What to pack for your stay in a self-catered ski apartment?

Life is easier with a list, right? There is comfort in knowing you’ve thought it through and ticked it off as you packed for your holiday. It reduces the risk of turning up and finding out you left the helmets on the spare bed!! There are always shops in resort if you get caught short, but why leave the comfort of your self-catered ski apartment or spend the extra cash if you don't have to.

Our sister company, The Chalet Company produced this list so we thought we would borrow it and use it for our lovely guests and ski lovers alike at The Ski Company. It should come in handy when you are travelling to your plush self-catered ski apartment.

Take a deep breath, pull the suitcase out the loft and print off your TSC (The Ski Company) checklist of what you need to pack. Your brain power work here is done!! It really is that easy thanks to this handy printable - The Ski Company Printable Packing List

Our list is broken down into three sections, which is much how we think of our suitcase – a third for ski gear, a third for apres ski/apartment lounging and a third for all the extras.

We find it is usually the comfy casuals we are short of, don’t underestimate the pull to sit down on the sofa or by the fire in your trackies after a hard day on the slopes.

You will also see we note back protector on the ski equipment list. This is obviously a personal choice but after hearing a few horror stories, we’ve decided it is on our kit list from now on, and much like a helmet we suspect you will see them forming part of the standard gear in years to come. To date, we’ve only used them on the kids, but are on the lookout for quality adults’ ones at a decent price point too!

HAPPY PACKING!
